Hi, I’m V, the heart and hands behind Mexican Homestead Pantry and the **Fresca Homestead Porch Stand**. My passion for cooking healthy, delicious Mexican meals comes from my deep-rooted love for family, culture, and wellness. As a stay-at-home mom and former licensed vocational nurse, I’ve always been committed to creating nourishing meals that bring people together while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
My journey into holistic cooking began when my daughter was diagnosed with cancer at just 18 months old. Through this challenging time, I discovered the power of wholesome, nutrient-dense foods and holistic alternatives. Today, I’m proud to say she is cancer-free, and our family's health transformation inspired me to share what I've learned with my community.
My holistic journey deepened even further when I began emerging from severe depression. As I started researching and learning more about the profound impact that food and everything we put into our bodies have on our overall well-being, I realized just how powerful mindful, healthy eating can be. This knowledge became a cornerstone in my healing journey and fueled my passion to help others find balance and joy through wholesome meals and mindful living.
At **Mexican Homestead Pantry**, I offer homemade, healthy Mexican dishes made with love, using fresh, quality ingredients. From comforting classics with a healthy twist to high-protein, low-sugar options, my goal is to help busy families enjoy authentic flavors without sacrificing their well-being.
With the **Fresca Homestead Porch Stand**, I’ve expanded my offerings to include:

The backbone of our homestead, my husband is always there to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s building chicken coops, fixing fences, or taste-testing new recipes, he’s my biggest supporter and an essential part of our journey.
My little helpers bring so much energy and love to our homestead. From gathering eggs to helping with garden chores, they are always eager to pitch in and learn valuable life skills along the way. Their excitement and enthusiasm make every task more enjoyable!
Our feathery friends provide us with delicious farm-fresh eggs and plenty of entertainment. They roam the homestead freely, foraging and clucking happily while keeping our garden free of pests.
The are all full of personality, our ducks are expert foragers and love splashing around. They not only provide eggs but also help keep our homestead eco-friendly.
Our playful goats are always up to something! They keep us laughing with their mischievous antics and provide us with nutritious milk for our family.
Soft, cuddly, and full of charm, our rabbits help with composting by providing excellent fertilizer for our garden while being adorable companions.
